The Pacific Northwest isn’t just where I sail — it’s where I grew up.

I’m Teresa, and my love of sailing started in a small 8′ sailing dinghy on the waters around North Vancouver Island. Summers brought bigger waters around Johnstone Strait and Desolation Sound. It also brought bigger boats. Along with an even bigger dream of someday setting off on my own.

Now with my collie Fergus and a Bavaria 40 Cruiser, I’m chasing that dream through the same rugged, misty coastline that first captured my heart. Teresa’s Cove Quest is a return to those roots and a quest for all the coves and quiet places still waiting to be found.
